I drew a drawing for Jack’s 13th birthday. When I drew it, I was thinking of him, that he is not a child anymore and he is becoming a youth, still a very tender age, but transition was visible.
This beautiful child is emerging into a different stage of his life. Then, Carol said to me one day, that the butterfly is a symbol of transformation. So, childhood is still there, but the next stage of his life is slowly creeping in.
