When
I drive around Southern Spain, in Andalusia, between Malaga
and Sevilla, what a wonderful sight of endless fields of sunflowers,
like a liquid gold, alive, like a solar invasion materialized,
here on our earth.
Marvellous
multitude of sunflowers starring at you and one feels a great
surge of lively power inside one's soul. I am not surprised
that Van Gogh got to them and painted them...and how!!!! I don't
believe that any artist ever will be able to express the essence
of those godly flowers as he did.
I
painted few of them as my reverence to Van Gogh; to thank him
that he left to us such a wonderful and mystical memory of them.
